Birds Eye TV Spot

Just finished animating this Birds Eye TV spot with XYZ Studios. The spot will air during the Australian Open Tennis broadcast.

All the live action was filmed in Tasmania. I then animated the 3D birds to match. Lots of challenging tracking on this job but had a great time making it.

I also animated this 10 second billboard animation which will feature between points during the tennis.

4 Melbourne Artists - Art Exhibition

We won an AWARD!!! YAY!

"The Soul of The Stone" a.k.a. "Den Hemmelige Parken" was awarded the 'Best Mobile Content' award at this year’s Gulltasten Awards.

GULLTASTEN is a ceremony for the Norwegian telco industry. It's a really big deal and it means we'll get to make some more games for 2011!

I was responsible for the Design, Illustration and Animation of the game. So hopefully my part helped to win the award too.

Thanks to all the guys at WSP, Two-Bulls and Profusions. Together we were able to put together a game worthy of this Award. So thanks again to everyone involved and I look forward to many more to come!

GEORGE PUBLIC BAR MURALS - NOW OPEN!!!

I've spent most of October painting these two murals at the newly renovated 'George Public Bar' on Fizroy Street StKilda. Owners Darren, Jace and Lez have done a superb job of renovating the place and I'm proud to announce to ya'll that it's open for business!!!

THE SOUL OF THE STONE - iPHONE GAME

Finally the NEW i-phone game 'The Soul of the Stone' has been officially released for the iphone and ipad. I worked on this game with the wonderful guys at Two-Bulls and WSP for the Norwegian Telecommunications giant 'NetCom'. I designed, Illustrated and Animated all the Characters and Environments. It's free, so click here to check it out!

Here are two previews of some of the Animation. It's in Norwegian (it wasn't easy to animated in a foreign language ;)

It was great fun and the response from the Norwegian public has been great! Here's some photos of the game being played in the Park in Oslo...

This is the latest M&M's TVC for the Bare All campaign. I worked on this animation with Bruce Currie at Trilobite productions. I animated Blue and Green toasting marshmallows.

I had a great time working on this campaign with the very talented Bruce Currie.
I animated Yellow and Orange in the online intro, Red in the tent and Blue and Green in the night before animation (Which is also the official TV commercial).

Here's a fun animated spot I just finished with Bruce Currie at Trilobite productions here in Melbourne.
It was a real challenge to animate these little guys dancing around, but I think that the end result is very effective and ultimately really funny to watch! I hope you all like it.

This is a TV Spot for Zain telecommunications that I did with XYZ Studios in Melbourne.
I did all the character animations using after effects. Stephen Watkins at XYZ Studios directed the Spot and animated all the BG's.
Overall a really nice job with a very unique look and feel.

I've been working on this iphone GPS game called 'The Hidden Park'.
It just been released and I can finally show you all the illustrations, character designs and animations that I did to make it come to life.

My DreamWorks dream....

One month ago I had a fantastic interview with DreamWorks Animation in LA for a Character Animator position on 'Shrek Goes Fourth'. I met with five great people. In particular two of the Heads of Animation Rex Grignon and Jason Schleifer who I really enjoyed chatting with. Wow what an awesome couple of guys! and so talented!
Unfortunately I wasn't able to get the job due to some timing issues, so I'm not moving to LA just yet. But you never know what's around the next corner :)

Winner! 11 Second Club April 08 (Oh is it already 2009?)

Even though it was one year ago. I thought I'd still post this.
In April 2008 I won the 11 Second Club animation contest with this animation of a delusional bus driver.
I got the best E-Critique from the wonderful and talented Dana Boadway. Dana you ROCK!

Also, this is my March 08 entry. I came 4th.
